I am so glad you are considering Christ Place Church. I feel that the people of Christ Place are some of the best in the world. They are just regular people who love God and His Word. At Christ Place you will find that every week the Bible is faithfully preached, groups will meet for biblical community, and Jesus will be worshipped through prayer, singing, and giving. Pastor Rick Hermann is from Marianna, Florida, and has been married to Charyl for 18 years. Rick and Charyl moved to Christ Place Church as newlyweds in 2005. Rick has served in various roles at Christ Place over the years. In 2010 he moved to pastor First Baptist Church of Greensboro, Georgia, for 4 years and then returned to the staff of Christ Place in 2014. He graduated from the Baptist College of Florida and from Liberty University. Rick and Charyl have 5 children who keep them very busy. Charyl is a cardiac nurse at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Rick loves preaching and teaching and developing next generation leaders. In addition to Jesus and his family, Rick loves reading, hiking with his family, FSU football, fishing and hunting when the opportunity arises.
