Christ Place Sports is a fun, competitive, and Christ-centered environment that gives your child the opportunity to grow physically and spiritually. We currently offer a full basketball season complete with practices, games and playoffs.
The COST for this year is $160.

Discounts available for coaches and registering multiple children. 

The following are the grade level and age requirements for the league.  If your child has skipped a grade, been held back, etc., then they will be playing with other kids in the same age range rather than their current grade.

Your player will receive a team jersey as part of your registration fee. All players will need to provide their own black shorts, basketball shoes are highly recommended, and water bottles labeled with player’s name. The league will provide the appropriate sized basketball for practice and games.

Games will be played on Saturdays in the Christ Place gym.  Game times will fall between 8am-5pm. Schedules will be provided in  early December following evaluations when teams are formed.

Teams will be formed after evaluations and we cannot promise that siblings and friends will be on the same team. However, if a parent coaches their child’s team, then we can be more flexible with who is on your team because coaches draft their own team.

Coaches sign up by emailing sports@christplace.com. You must be a Christ Place member to be a coach. You will then be sent a background check to be completed as well as a coaches playbook. Coaches’ children will receive a 50% discount when they register. Ideally, send us an email at sports@christplace.com to let us know of your interest in coaching before you register your children and you will be sent a promo code to use during registration.

Referees will be provided at every age level. Referees for the Pre-K through Kindergarten games will be volunteers. 1st-2nd grade and up will have GHSA certified referees for the games. In general, we want to remind our parents to be respectful of our referees and coaches. The goal of our referees is to keep the players safe first and foremost. As the players grow and develop their basketball knowledge, adherence to the rules of the game will become more strict. Referee abuse will not be tolerated.
