BUDDY PROGRAM
Our Buddy Program offers trained buddies who partner with kids & students with special needs as they participate in their age-appropriate ministry environments alongside their peers. Buddies provide encouragement, assistance, and companionship to help each child engage, build friendships, and experience the love of Jesus. SONSHINE ROOM
The Sonshine Rooms are available for children & adults with special needs who might benefit from a controlled environment. These spaces provide a calm, sensory-friendly setting where individuals can participate in church in a way that best supports their unique needs while receiving care and encouragement from trained volunteers.

MDWK Sonshine is a place where kids and adults with special needs can experience meaningful community, connection, and care while their parents participate in serving opportunities, classes, or discipleship groups on Wednesday nights. Our trained team provides a welcoming environment with engaging activities, encouragement, and support tailored to each individual's needs, helping everyone feel known, valued, and loved.
