The cross is a popular symbol in our culture. Many know it as a reference to Jesus and Easter, but beyond that, to them, it’s meaningless. The Bible calls it foolishness, this message of the cross as seen from the perspective of those far from God and headed for destruction.
But what about us, Christ Place family? Do we understand that the story of the cross is the very power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18)? Can we tell this story to others who need to personally experience Christ?
In this series, we’ll learn the truth about the cross — how Christ’s death satisfied the just demands of the righteousness and wrath of God and set sinners free to live in a restored relationship with Him. As messengers of the gospel, we pray that God would use us to help many people move from foolishness to salvation.
