I am thrilled that you are considering joining our Christ Place family. That is who we are, family. We strive to live out Galatians 6:2 where we are commanded to "bear one another's burdens." We believe God's Word calls the family of God to this type of biblical community. mEET THE
CAMPUS PASTOR
Pastor Jake Brooks is from Clarkesville, Georgia, and has been married to Courtney since June 2016. They have one daughter named Myla. Jake has been on the pastoral staff at Christ Place Church since April 2020, when he served as Kids Pastor for three years. Previously, Courtney worked on staff as a Student Ministry assistant. Prior to joining the pastoral staff at Christ Place, Jake coached collegiate basketball for six years at universities. Jake enjoys developing the next generation of ministry leaders and is passionate about leading parents to disciple their children to know and love the Lord Jesus. Beyond ministry, Jake enjoys time with his family, trips with his wife, Georgia football, coffee, and a good book!
