Foster and Adopt

As we continue to focus on families here at Christ Place, we don’t want to leave out the hundreds of children in our community and thousands around the world who are still waiting on their forever family. Could God be calling your family to foster or adopt one of those children?  If this is something you’d like more information on we’d love to talk with you! Are you already fostering or have recently adopted and you didn’t realize your church had a ministry where you could find community and support?  If this is you, we’d love to talk to you as well!  If you’re someone who thinks, neither of those situations are me, then I have a question for you, what IS your something?  James 1:27 says “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.”  We’re all called to do something whether that’s through prayer or a small act of service to those who are called to have a child in their home full time, we can all do something & we’d love to talk with you about what your “something” could be!

We don’t all have the calling to foster or adopt, but we all can do something for orphans and the families who care for them.
